Picked this hotel mainly for its location, just a couple of blocks from Hisaya Odori Park and the Mirai Tower. Fantastic value given that location, and the fact that despite picking a smaller and cheaper room (it was the cheapest place I stayed on my trip, at £44 for a night), it was much more spacious than expected, and several storeys up with a decent view. The check-in process was easy and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has no parking if you're arriving by car - I'd recommend parking in one of the underground parking lots underneath the large park/plazas off Hisaya-odori and walking the 10 minutes or so to the hotel.

The property is very centrally located. It is conveniently near shopping malls, the park with the Mirai Tower and Oasis 21 which has a bus station underneath for going to the airport. It is also within walking distance of the bus stop of the airport limousine bus. It is very lively at night since it is also near some night clubs. The hotel is near Exit 1 of the Sakae Subway Station which is served by the Higashiyama and Meijio subway lines that you can use directly going to Nagoya Station, Noritake Garden, Nagoya Castle, Osu shopping street, Atsuta Jingu Shrine, and Tokugawa Museum and Garden.

The room was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The hotel’s location was perfect for all the attractions that I had planned to see. After I checked out, I asked one of the receptionists about forwarding my luggage to another hotel (I planned on only taking a backpack to my next accommodation) and she completed the form for me! I really appreciated that— thanks again!! TIP: If you have luggage and don’t want to carry it up the stairs from the subway: walk to exit 8 to take the escalator & from there it’s about a 2-3 minute walk to the hotel.

I really like the location as it was only a few steps away from the train station plus it is also close to the shopping center like Don Quixote. The lobby also is very homey and I like that they offer a couple of perks like free coffee/choco drinks. Although there is clearly a language barrier, the staff do attempt to communicate and help their customers. The housekeeping is very consistent in giving daily bath towel replacement even if I did not request for room cleaning.

The room was clean, staff were lovely and the beds were the most comfortable we have slept in so far in japan. The curtains blocked out alot of the sunlight so we had a great sleep. Will definitely stay here again.
